The Interlochen Pattis Family Foundation Creative Arts Book Award
The Pattis Family Foundation Creative Arts Book Award at Interlochen Center for the Arts identifies and celebrates the best new literature about the arts and the pursuit of creative expression. The award is presented annually to a book that inspires, illuminates, or exemplifies the creative process in fields such as creative writing, dance, film and new media, music, theater, and visual arts. The award is an annual book competition that invites nominations for book-length works of either fiction or nonfiction that explore how artists create and develop their craft. The winning author conducts a multi-day residency at Interlochen Arts Academy and joins the lineup of the National Writers Series in Traverse City, Michigan.
